ABOUT

Hi, I’m Brett Bichard (that’s pronounced like BISH-ARD, courtesy of my mum’s family who originated in Geurnsey!). My pronouns are he/him/his, and I am an actor, voice actor, and creative storyteller based in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

My performing arts journey began in musical theatre, where I’ve been actively involved in productions since 2022. Through singing, acting, and performing for live audiences, I discovered a genuine passion for bringing characters and stories to life. The collaborative nature of theatre, combined with the excitement of live performance, inspired me to further develop my skills as an actor.

Since then, I’ve expanded my experience into screen acting, appearing as an extra in two short films: Ultraviolence (2024) directed by Mitchell Treharne, and To Be Seen (2025) directed by Leilani Coombes. Working on set has given me valuable insight into the filmmaking process and strengthened my desire to pursue opportunities in film and television. Every production has provided the chance to learn from talented creatives and gain a deeper understanding of performance for the screen.

To continue building my craft, I completed the Screenwise Showreel Course in Sydney, where I trained alongside industry professionals and developed a series of professionally produced showreel scenes. The experience allowed me to refine my on-camera performance skills while creating high-quality showreels that showcase my range as an actor.

Alongside acting, I also work as a voice actor from my broadcast-quality home studio, lending my voice to commercial, corporate, narration, and character projects. Whether I’m in front of the camera, on stage, or behind the microphone, I’m driven by a love of storytelling and a commitment to creating authentic, engaging performances.

Thank you for stopping by!
